Hi, I'm Anthony Day. I help tech sales operators win bigger, get promoted, and build careers that compound.
I started in the Marines. After service I moved into enterprise tech sales as a Sales Engineer, then grew into Solutions Architect, then Architect Leader at a major CRM vendor. Fifteen years in the operator seat: discovery, multi-thread mapping, POVs, executive briefs, panel architecture interviews, calibration rounds. The technical side of the deal.
Along the way I noticed a gap. What operators are taught in sales training doesn't match what actually moves enterprise deals. The decks, the prompts, the cadence templates, the promotion memos that get the title — none of those live in a sales course. They live in the heads of senior operators who built them by repetition. I started writing them down for myself, then for the people on my teams who asked.
Field Brief is the weekly newsletter where I share what I've learned. The Field Manuals are the standalone systems for specific operator moments — promotion memos, discovery frameworks, AI prompt libraries for the seat. This is the playbook I wish someone had handed me on day one. Written from the seat, tested in the chair, built for the operators who want to compound — not just survive — quarter after quarter.
